This emotional work was created during a meeting with Andreas Calviez, known for his water and cloud paintings. Inspired by Andreas‘ technique, this work was created with many fine and almost transparent glazes. Painted with various so-called „sanding models“, the water has a flowing and irrepressible quality.
The painting conveys the drama of the rough sea and gives a glimpse of the weather clearing up on the horizon – the longed-for silver stripe.
